Home Bleaching is another way to obtain whiter teeth. This procedure typically takes about 7 to 10 days to complete. At your first visit, we take models of your teeth. Using these models, custom home bleaching trays are fabricated for your teeth. These trays are made specifically for your teeth and will not fit anyone else's mouth. The home bleaching trays are made of a very thin, clear plastic material. |
You will load the bleaching gel into the trays on
a daily basis and proceed to wear the trays in your mouth. The trays need
to be worn for at least 6 hours at a time for the bleaching gel to have its
maximum effect. Usually, these trays are worn at night time, while you go
to bed. However, they can also be worn during the day if that is preferred
by you. |
